There was zero reason to put that quote in an article, ruining a moment for a dude that’s done everything right and putting a HS kid in an unfortunate spot. Journalist literally have ZERO moral compass when it comes to being a human instead they would throw their family in front of a bus for a good story. Ship deserved to announce his decision his way without all of this BS

Agree. She didn’t need to go there. The recruit said it like he knows something but it could be just what he thinks is going to happen and making an assumption/opinion sound like fact just like a lot of poasters on TNet.

It's an incoming freshman quote, not article on breaking news. Shuler could just be regurgitating what he heard prior to bowl game.
At this point, Ship hasn't announced and I honestly think it would be huge mistake as he is not NFL ready. He should collect NIL another year and bank it. Then hope for a very productive season.

Maybe he's truly conflicted and is still deciding, but there has been so much drama surrounding his decision. He isn't sure, then there are vague statements about possible options, then we have another announcement that he isn't sure. I wish him all the best, but at some point it seems that silence is preferable to continuing to talk about something that hasn't been decided.
