So does that leave us with 3 spots left?

May 30, 2013, 6:37 PM

If so, who you want?

My guys are Trey Quinn, Raekwon McMillan and either Lorenzo Carter or Kentavious Street.

I've seen where we take 16-18

May 30, 2013, 6:39 PM

Sammy/Bryant could leave...transfers and so on.

We will take more than 12

May 30, 2013, 6:41 PM

This puts us in a great situation now though, as we can really just focus on recruiting top end talent (to go along with the top end talent we have committed already).

It will work out to where we will be around that 20 number.

May 30, 2013, 6:43 PM

It always seems to.

we are allegedly doing well with him and more big uglies are always good

I was actually coming to the board to ask about big uglies so will just ask it here. I dont keep up with clemson recruiting like I used to because it seems we dont battle over the same guys as much. What is the status of yalls offensive line recruiting? How many will yall take and who is high on the board? Who is highly interested in clemson? Any already committed?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

O lineman

May 30, 2013, 8:32 PM

We only have 2 senior OLs, so we aren't taking many. We already have one committed in Taylor Hearn, 6-5 300 lb player. Will probably play right tackle or guard. We may take one more, and my bet would be on David Sharpe, a big ol tackle prospect.

We are currently number one on Mitch Hyatt's leader list. He is a future five star, an elite offensive tackle.

Mitch Hyatt is a 2015 prospect, FYI***

Had a friend mention hyatt the other day. Where is he from? Does clemson have a big lead or are other schools still really in the mix?

Suwanee, Georgia. I think I read on rivals he will be a five star, and another recruiting service had him as a five star, #15 in the country. Big, lean, athletic tackle. He is a big Clemson lean, his uncle played here and he grew up a fan.

Yeah from what I know it's a big lead. It could change but his uncle played at Clemson and he grew up a Clemson fan. He'll probably be a Tiger.
