While strength of schedule matters (playing powerhouses like Western Kentucky, Mercer, South Florida and Wisconsin), it was losing to Vandy and OU that ultimately kept Bama out IMO.

Doesn't give you a pass to have bad losses. If you play tough games and lose those games you get the benefit of the doubt and those losses won't hurt you as bad and may even get you in over a team the has less losses than you bc your losses were good. If you can't win the gimme games then all bets are off. Tough schedules dont give you a pass to just lose any game on the schedule hard or not!

It doesn't make any sense for them to do that, because it was conference losses that kept them out of the playoffs. It had nothing to do with out of conference games.

I think it would be hilarious if the ACC sends them a formal invitation to join the conference, maybe even give them a plus 1, to say if you don't like it, move to another country, I mean conference.

Alabama didn't deserve to go. They didn't win the SEC Championship, and they didn't even get into the game. Quit crying, you lost 3 games, and two were to OKla., and Vanderbilt. Quit trying to live off of Nick Saban's legacy. He's gone, and you are not the same program.
