Think we can officially pump brakes on softball being a WCWS contender.
Add to it, might've blown chance to finally win the overall sport Palmetto Series this year w/o the softball point. Can salvage tie on the year, but w/ golf teams still to factor in, might miss out again.

We really lack the hitters from top to bottom. If we can get Cagle and Knowlers back from whatever ailment that seems to be floating around the locker room.

Val no, mills could. Valerie can move on and be the highest paid player in the pros. She could probably make enough off endorsement for a good living and paying off her student debt. I'm not sure about the others, but Val probably made enough nil to pay a full ride.

Not sure right off,I hope so though...If not Valerie then hopefully maybe Regan and Millie will get a 5th year...Could really used them both because the thought of having Brooke McCubbin being the #1 starter for next season makes me nervous to think about it

Coots are ranked and a pretty good team. I'd say going into extras and losing to another good team is no actual reason to be concerned over a long season.

They're not that good. They'll be a middle sec school. Sorry tigerdug23. We're 2-5 against the sec. 2 of the teams will end up in the top third. Uga and Tennessee should be the only teams that compete with us.
It's not just losing this game. This loss epitomizes why Rittman is not our long-term solution. There, I said it. Flail away. Rittman was the perfect candidate for getting our program from zero to reaching regionals. We, and conversely Rittman wouldn't have accomplished anything near a super and the wcws without the best overall player in the country.
Just do me a favor. Take the orange glasses off and ask yourself why in 5 years he couldn't build a powerhouse around Val. After year 1, he should have been able to talk the best hitters in the country to build off of Valerie. Then 2nd year we had two ace pitchers and a darn good closer in Reagan.
But what did he do, he wouldn't recruit, and what little he recruited, he didn't develop. He'd rather play his pets against PC or mercer than doing what Bakich is doing.
It would not hurt my feelings if he took a desk job and get a new staff in. Preferably from Oklahoma.

Next year is going to be scary without Cagle unless Rittman starts recruiting better or gets some high quality from the portal.
Is this Spencer and Regan's last year too?

Not saying there aren’t any problems, bot so far they are 3-1 without Val with the only loss being against a top 25 team.
By the way, “Spencer and Regan” is the same person.

I agree with everything you said. Rittman is good at starting a program but never can finish the job. Go look at why he left Stanford, or Standford left him. You also mentioned favorites. He is Bowden 2.0. He doesn't develop, he just plugs holes with 5th year seniors from the portal and let's the REAL Clemson players continue to sit on the bench. Carolina used 5 pinch hitters last night trying to change things up. Rittman used ZERO. He sits down there with his hands on his knees hoping for the miracle homerun to bail us out. The job of a coach is try and create things when your players aren't performing. It's obvious he doesn't teach bunting in practice because we only have 2 truly good hunters. The rest of them stab at it as they are running out of the box. It's time for an energetic coach with some fire and desire.

Not getting timely hits is a concern. An error in first inning put first runner onboard for Carolina with
a bad throw to first which should have been an out. Take that run off board clemson wins 3-2. Also in 11th. Two on and one out and can’t get a run across. It was a matter of time befure Carolina scored
