That's my question. Who's calling the plays, Streeter or Dabo? And why are they calling plays that don't play to the strengths of the QB? That rollout to the left for Cade was a bad play call, and his ability to see the defender closing in was lacking there.
I've been a quiet supporter all season of Dabo and hoped for the best for DJ, but I think that it's over. Cade needs serious practice time with the first string if he's going to be the starter moving forward, and whoever is calling the plays needs to stop being so predictable! If I as a 50yr old couch potato that hasn't played real football in over 30 years can tell what play we're calling before the snap then it's a cinch that opposing DCs can.
