If she's a socialist and the state is socialist, why is she getting low marks?

Her first win was convincing a major American employer

that they and their 25,000 jobs, thousands of supporting jobs, and billions in tax revenue were not welcome in her town. I am still amazed at that. “The $3 billion can be better spent on subways and roads!” It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so pathetic. The victory lap was a nice touch.
Honestly with all the mockery that flyover states get from east and west coast society, it is pretty funny what a rube they elected in NYC.

Nikki Haley's first major act as governor was to tell Amazon to go screw themselves and their Lexington project. And they did, until she was overruled by the legislature. It was almost too late regardless.
So why are you amazed? Major projects are killed all the time. And do you think Nikki Haley is a rube?

Huh. Well, I’m stumped. Those two scenarios are exactly the same

the way you’ve portrayed them. Now what can I say? If I continue to think that AOC is a moron, I must also believe that Nikki Haley is a moron.
This is a tough one.

They're not the same. AOC was simply one voice among many, with no authority over the project.
Nikki Haley directly made the decision to pull Amazon's economic development incentives.
