With Hopper Gone...

It's rough to see someone like Hopper leave the team, he had a lot of potential and made some great catches, but does this make a significant dent in our receiver core? With all the huge names we have, plus a few notable recruits coming in?

No dent at all. We are the strongest we have ever been at WR and continue to stock pile elite talent. Wish Hopper the best but we wont miss a beat

Well we were definitely stronger with Nuk + Sammy.

Granted Sammy missed several games that year and wasn't at his best for large parts of the season, but i would still take that WR corp over this one.

A statement on this? If not I wouldn't believe a word TCI has to say.

I'm assuming if G-hop doesn't return that Cade Stewart will not greyshirt?

Don't assume as we were at 87 after NSD.

I don't believe it will

He wasnt much of an impact while at Clemson. He had a few TD catches during the 2014 season but i don't think he any last year. It will definitely give our incoming WRs a better shot at early playing time and avoiding a rs. Cain, Williams, Mcloud, Renfrow, Bell, Thompson, Powell and Overton will be our starting lineup next year while Chase will RS if i had to guess

I think you forgot about Artavis in your list of receivers.

IF Hopper is indeed gone, it will certainly hurt

from a depth perspective, BUT given the wealth of talent we have at WR, we are still in fantastic shape at that position. I mean, we still have one of the best (if not THE best) groups of WRs in the country.

What is the opposite of a dent?

Because that's what Ghop leaving will be. He's been excess baggage his entire career. It's almost as if Dabo has been waiting until he desperately needed an extra a scholarship to push him out the door.
The list of people who would get more snaps than him this year includes:
Williams Scott Renfrow Cain McLeod
And likely 2 out of the 3 below: Chase Overton Powell
I'd leave too if I was the 9th option at WR. What a shame dude never wanted to put in the work to be great. He blew his chance at making millions.

Don't forget about Trevion Thompson, who will surely get significant snaps in 2016.
