I have often worked with those guys.
In the day they were quality guys, guess they still are.
Now under a DEI leader they strive for things other than "most qualified".
Many "qualified" took early retirement, and now many "qualified" have no interest in it.
In the heat of Summer paced this SS friend at the 'Great Brushy Mountain Marathon'. We were about 45. I was a 2:45 guy, we were doing 3:30 pace so easy for me. No shade, just hot hills. It was his first. We arrived early and hid some beer at half way. He suffered, but did not give. In the day the SS were a tuff lot.

Neighbor is a SS agent. He rotates on and off the Presidential detail.

He runs many miles a week as I see him all over. Then for months he's gone. He is a tough dude. Ask him and he says he "works in federal law enforcement". Thanks to the cackling hens in the neighborhood we all know what he does. Anyway, FBI agent lives 4 doors up the street from him.

Imma go ahead and say it. You sound real stupid saying this type of stuff. Blaming mistakes/incompetance, or whatever on some sort of diversity intiative is a pretty darn large leap.

But she was in low level leadership roles in the secret service before taking that job.
Still just doesn't add up to running what should be one of the most elite protection agencies in the world.
