Seasons over, could win by 100, wouldn’t change anything. Need to focus solely on recruiting top guys from other teams and finding out how to get the money raised to buy some of the top guys for the next recruiting cycle.

Getting top talent solves nothing if the coaches can't develop them and call plays that can score points or stop the other team.
Top talent is not coming to Clemson to wind up like this year's supposedly top clemson nfl draft picks who have now fallen from first round pucks to who knows where, esp. The QB.
TOP recruits are not stupid. They are not going to a program in decline and you can bet your last dollar that other coaches are using it as a recruiting tool against us.

Totally agree. 5 years of this garbage. Hire someone to be head of player development. Nepotism caused this. Dabo hired a friend of the family, who never had anything to do with football, to get him a check. That's when this crap started. Just ruined everything. UGGGH.

Beating up on sisters of the poor does nothing for me these days. Just look at App State last year after we got stoned by UGA the week prior for example. Looked great against them but abysmal against teams with a pulse. Only difference now is that we are sisters of the poor ourselves this year.
If anything, find a way to stop the bleeding this season and focus on next year. That's really the only goal remaining.

At this point, all I need to know is that Swinney plans to make major changes to the program from the coaching staff all the way to attacking the portal for a qb next year and really every position except WR.
If that doesn’t happen, there’s not really any reason to be excited about the future.
He needs to bring a great flood to the program and consider himself Noah.

Despite results thus far, I'm about certain we need a win for health reasons...I'm not so sure many of our TigerNet members could take another loss right now. Besides, it might be good for our boys to kind of get their minds a little righter.

I worry the most likely outcome is that we win close (call it 7-13 points) and great we got the win but you can't really feel good that the trajectory of the program has changed.
That being said, I'm not convinced this is something that can be fixed 'mid-flight' if you will.
I think it's going to take at least an offseason and perhaps a few years to get things headed in the right direction.

Depends on if we see the young guys play early.
If we see Davidson take a ton of snaps and CV/Denson comes in and plays 3+ quarters and looks good, Tristian smith sees more snaps from the get-go, I'll feel very hopeful.
Just out athleteing a poor UNC team and letting off the gas won't be great.
Most important thing is to stop the slide and win a ball game.
Making a bowl game so we can get extra practice and evals of younger players is crucial so this is a must win.

There will be several teams with 2 losses in conference. I don't see anyone going undefeated. Beat FSU and go to ACCCG. Tie breakers will be crazy this year.

I think that some people on here would be surprised if we lost Saturday. I cannot say this loud enough: THIS TEAM DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WINNING. They don't even look like they enjoy football
