Mature beyond his years.

Definitely not walking around with the sense of entitlement that typically comes with elite recruits. This is the type of guy you can expect to come to Clemson when the coaches are up front with these guys about having to earn it when they get here. TL is not by himself in this at Clemson. We’ve been very fortunate to have they type of players come through here the last few years that we have.

I know this year isn't over, just saying I think he will continue to improve in-game and is going to be a legend before he leaves. I can wait for it. Lead us to the promise land Kelly!

I swear I need to unsubscribe from Tiger net. Kelly has passed for more yards than this before. Stop it already and celebrate both these young men. Ok you want Trevor and this young man is amazing but so is Kelly.

This article does a great job praising both QBs. Also a lot of the KB haters have either converted or gone back into the woodwork.

I find it absolutely amazing how mature both KB and TL have been through this whole split QB thing we have going on right now.

Well ... he could go all "Chad Kelly" on the coaches ...

Or sulk, but say absolutely nothing ... which would speak volumes.
There are a lot of things he could say or do besides what he did say and do.
So, yes ... you are correct ... realistically it is "NICE".

I believe the point of this post was to show how well he handles the media. Obviously, they were trying to get him to make a negative remark about the QB situation on the team. Points for the true freshman.

He could say cocky or stupid things, like so many do. But he didn't. Generally speaking, I think most Clemson players are pretty good this way. The coaches know what they are looking for and stick with a certain type of person- humble, teachable, patient, competitive, just to mention a few qualities. As Dabo always says, he looks for a person first, a football player second.
