Furman game. Then Noles came to town and we're 7-7 since then. If they broke us, we're running out of schedule to get this turned around prior to post season.

I'd rather get the slump out the way before the acc tournament. These girls are going to win the acc tournament and go deep into the ncaa tournament. These ladies are going to do big things just like I feel the men are as well. Go Tigers!

We obviously could use a relief pitcher for the late inning[s]. Lost 2 games in final at bat rallies by the opponents--one was by 3 and the other by 5 runs.
I suspect Coach Rittman is stewing over those two losses. If not--he should be. Cagle's arm may be tiring--only 4 'SOs' at VT in game 1. We had at least 11 base runners in that game and lost it. Our ladies have had their bats quelled in the state of Virginia. We did not hit vs FSU either.
I am hoping for a win tomorrow at VT and some momentum going into the ACC tournament. Let's hoe we are not in the bracket with the 'Noles'. Where is the tournament this spring for ACC women's softball?
What was the issue with Clark being taken out after 1 inning in 2nd game today?

Clark collided with the catcher and they threw her out of the game. I did not see the actual play, but the announcer did not agree with the call.

She slammed into her like you used to see in baseball all the time. I imagine she was trying to knock the ball out but it wasn't malicious. But unfortunately, it is the rules. She was in a rundown so not like she had a head of steam. It could have gone either way. But tge young lady that replaced her hit a Homer for our only run. It's not why we lost.

Great shape for a young program. Fsu didn't break us. We're a weak hitting team. I'd posted b4 fsu game, as ot h ers had too, that our stats were skewed because of weak schedule. No ledge my friend, just facts. We've feasted off walks hbp, errors, poor decisions by other teams and then run into a dinger to score runs.
Specifically said when 37-1 that we really didn't know how good a team we had because we were unproven. Hey, we're a good team. Not the great team, top 10 like it looked via stats. We're 1-6 against top 25 rpi teams and now a couple losses to teams not in top 25 rpi.
Va Tech is a good team too. But I doubt they'll make it out of a regional... but that depends on the seed and field.

Not if we don’t have any better development mentally and physically. Mentally mostly. This team is beyond dumb and the coaches aren’t too smart either. We’ve had these girls around for years and they’ve improved until now all of a sudden

The gals obviously have had a change of attitude since the Noles series. They are not nearly as aggressive as they were and some of their most productive hitters have really gone south. Hard to figure anything but attitude change and the ups & downs of a long season. Would be great if they were hitting on all cylinders agin for the post season.
