Along with NIL caps, probably more transparency around compensation, and collective bargaining arrangements.

It's hard to contemplate as an average fan who already can't afford to go to games but it's the door they've opened. The genie they've let out of the bottle. The Pandora's box they can't close. And other cliches.

If you can't afford to go to a game that's your fault pal, not the guy on the field that people are willing to pay good money to see.

NIL benefits should be unvested, accrue each year, and be contingent on graduation. This would eliminate a lot of the tampering and the revolving door on the transfer portal.

Yeppers, graduation/degrees should be in play and enforced since, after all, it is college football.🤷

would likely result in a litany of antitrust lawsuits.
The NCAA has long argued that its current rules are designed to protect the amateur status of collegiate athletes, but there is very little about the current model that even remotely resembles amateurism.

"would likely result in a litany of antitrust lawsuits."
This is the reason we have the current situation. It's nothing the NCAA did, their amateurism rules were ripped apart by courts.

These are adults you are talking about here.
Old enough to vote. Old enough to buy cigarettes. Old enough to go fight and die for this country.
Oh but they can't make money off of their OWN name. Got it.

I would also push for backloaded deals.
Player XYZ will receive $3m. $500k year 1, $500k year 2, $2m if you finish out your 3rd year.
No re-negotiating on either side. That would bring down ridiculous transfer values for 1-hit wonders and add stability.

Matter how many speed limit signs you put up.
You can't stop a uga lawyer from dropping a bag of money on a criminal's door step.
The money isn't coming from schools.. it's coming from boosters
The NCAA could try to slap rules on transfers but every school in the nation would have to get behind it. It would be near impossible to pass such a thing but would be absolutely impossible if just 1 school fights it.
