Hopefully we can close on kid from Purdue. Then we need a LB.

Even just three additions from the portal this season could be difference to get back to another ACC title game.

We desperately need another DE and one who can set the EDGE. I also agree we need another LB, but DE is the most important position we need to address.

I would agree that DE is the most pressing need. Pretty clear we missed on Zaire (why he's still around is a mystery to me) and Denhoff. If we can't set an edge, all discussions about Goodwin are irrelevent.

Think Mayo is going to be a star. I actually would like to see a few snaps from him on Saturday on 3rd and long. That said, agree we need an upper classman transfer here and LB.

I think Mayo will add some quality depth next year. I don't think anyone expected him to be a contributor this year. He did show some signs of what he's capable of against App State...but that was garbage time.

I agree on the LB but the entire position group needs a better coach. The guys we have did not play well enough this year especially against running qbs

Maybe dabo can find us a few more diamonds in the rough that none of the big programs want. That seems to be his new strategy.

At least he finally evaluating the portal and actually hosting visits. The next step is to pony up the appropriate $. Hopefully by next season the rev share will level the playing field a bit.
