Florida State is the real deal. Clemson didn't play our best game, but they just looked better all around than Clemson did. I think if they continue to play that way no one can beat FSU this year.

If we had lost 35-31 or something, well, you can say you did your best but it wasn't quite enough.
Saturday was a self-initiated beatdown that should keep the team humble for a few more years.

Im not a doom and gloom guy, but I also dont mind calling a spade a spade. To brush off a BEATING is as ridiculous as someone who is looking for an excuse to complain. Getting beat is one thing, but that wasnt getting beat by a better team, that was getting destroyed.

If we had lost a hard fought game in respectable fashion then I don't think there would be hardly any negative posts.
I just don't understand how people think we are in the same company as FSU or even the rest of the top ten when we let a horrible NC State team play with us, let a very average BC team play with us in our own house, and let a top five FSU team destroy us in our own house. Even back in the 90s when FSU was beating ACC teams 70-0 every week they had to fight for a win in Death Valley. Yes, we are still ranked in the top ten so the rest of the country must think we are top ten, but I am using my own common sense to analyze this.

That's my issue. Take away the WVU and the FSU beat downs and take away the UGA and LSU wins to even it out and what are you left with. No signature wins but still 4 straight losses to rival
My concern is the blow outs. Don't get fooled by Dabo's cheerleading. he says look 6 of the top 10 got beat. He is correct, but how many have even been beaten like Clemson on the national stage.
I would have no problem saying Clemson is back if they lost by 10 in a good game. However, the Orange Bowl and the FSU game are the last to really hyped games that ended in debacle. That is either coaching, talent or winning mind set and all of those end at the Head Coaches desk
Everyone loves Dabo but come on name another team with the talent, expectations, fan base, highest paid asst coaches, atmosphere, etc that has 2 complete national stage embarrassing whippings in the last 3 years. Tells you someone is out of their league on gameday. Again, want to bring up the LSU and UGA games, both 3 point wins, but wins none the less, take away the beat downs and then take away the 3 point wins, what is left for DAbo to hang his hat on? Wins over unranked ACC teams?

If the score had been something like 45-42 then we would have lost to an elite team.
