We do offer NIL packages to recruits. Jason Priester has confirmed as much from the parents. Coaches don’t get into bidding wars though. That could change. We shall see.

I know a lot of people won’t believe this, but Dabo uses the portal this offseason. I know he’s stubborn but he loves Clemson. He’s not going to let Clemson fail. He may never make it back to the mountain top, but he’s not going to lets us go back to 2010.

I think we are down to 13 commits. How are we going to fill out the 2025 class? Looks like we need about 7 more commitments?

And play on a team with a staff that cannot spell defense, much less coach or teach it.
That was an awful performance, or lack of performance I should say

EVERY single year, even BEFORE the NIL, the SKY IS FALLING Crowd wets their panties. DT is the last position I'm worried about at Clemson.
Dude's taking visits, he can't stay Committed to Dabo and shop around.

Guess he doesn’t value a college education and almost guaranteed graduation with Dani’s record to the upfront money he’ll blow through in a few months. We wish him well !

Someone who doesn't have money isn't gonna all of sudden know how to live with money. It's gone before they know it. Investing in yourself by getting an education and having the right people in life will take you farther than a bag of money.
Go Tigers!!

This Campbell kid says he is looking for a program that represent his “value and goals”
So becoming a great man, playing for elite program and coach, and graduating are not in his “value and goals” for the future ??
It’s about 💰 and it’s going to keep costing our Tigers some elite level recruits. This is so dumb, and obvious that it’s about money. Unless he is an atheist or hates class then this decision makes little sense unless he forgot to mention the money part 😂
Anyway, next man up
Go Tigers!!

I love this post!
Could not have said it better!
**Also, folks please remember pre-NIL. We lost commits then too. As of today, the scholarship limit is still 85. We may not get option A. Or option B. But, option C. and Clemson may just work something out. Travis Etienne is the ultimate example of offering a guy "after we didn't get the player we targeted at the most. Isiah Simmons as well - turned out pretty well for us. Hunter Renfrow and Grady Jarrett were 2-star players coming out of H.S. The recruiting services can't possibly evaluate all of the U.S. Dabo has shown time and time again; he can spot under-evaluated talented players. I am not worried.
BTW, Ruke, for another example, was one many complained about when he and Ethinosa came in. Both, 3-star project guys. Ruke had only turned to football his Sophomore year in fact or maybe even his junior year. We didn't get the big name we wanted; but Ruke worked out well. E.T.(Reuben Ethinosa, got his degree and transferred and I believe is a key starter for that school). The point being: "I wouldn't sweat it just yet or at all"!

They seem to have a pretty good stable of edge guys. So why get into a bidding war over a kid who knows he's going to have to fight for playing time, and doesn't seem to have the grit to do so.
And what's with him saying "I know this may come as a shock ..."?!
These dern kids need someone who'll go upside the back of their heads from time to time.
"This may come as a shock ..." Gimme a break.
