I don't have any worries about the defensive line. They look solid. Could be the best line since the Mighty Morphins roamed the field.
Go Tigers!!!

Totally agree. Have tons of faith in Rumph. We have some dudes. I too think Denhoff will ball. Let's be honest, we can squeeze the pocket. As long as we can contain, we'll be ok on the run. Just get those big paws up and be gap sound. Clog the passing lanes because I think most teams will come at us with screens and quick slants. Bat a few balls down and we'll see our share of 3rd and long... yeah, stoked about what this D will become.

It should also sharpen abd test our oline, as well as push cade on decision making. That will help a ton. This Definitely needs to be a statement year. Bring on spring practice.

DT looks very strong but DE is a major concern

We have ONE DE that is a true starter. One.
Denhoff should be a role player unless he makes a huge jump.
If Parker gets hurt, there is no good answer.
Why we didn’t focus on getting a quality DE from the portal, I don’t know. I hope we tried but this is a major weakness heading into the fall.
Let’s hope someone burst onto the scene like Parker did. Wes and the defensive staff has a significant problem to work around. Hopefully that raise will prove worthwhile. For the record, I think he deserved a raise.

Burley is light enough to where he could move to end. Capehart and Woods are inside monsters so I come see Burley moving over to the end position

We have 5-7 NFL DTs

along with more question marks than answers right now at DE.

I think we'll see 3 DTs with TJ Parker standing on the edge or the tight end side often. It'd be a shame to not have all of that DT talent on the field as much as possible.

Can't wait to see Carter, Woodaz and Sammy B flying around behind this bunch.

The Mullet adds 5 mph no doubt. Cannot wait to see that dood tearing it up.

And when i say "Mullet" i mean that with all due respect, and pronounce it with a "leh" sound at the end to give it its proper dignification.

TJ Parker
Peter Woods
Demonte Capehart
Vic Burley
Should be the starting line. Move Burley to end because Denhoff is average

Let's see what Rumph molds Denoff into. I think DE will make big strides with the coaching change

Depth at DL is crucial, or at least extremely beneficial.

Far more complicated than I am about to explain, but the principle is still the same.

Have 8 guys you can rotate.

1st team plays 2 series, 2nd team plays 1.
Rinse and repeat.

8 guys who can play quality minutes means 4th quarter the DL is fresher than the OL they have been beating on for 3 quarters.

If I were a coach and there was only one position group I could go 2 deep on, it would be DL.
