rather than electing to transfer of his own volition, other thn the typical restrictions imposed by the NCAA, ther would be no other restrictions.
CK has three options:
(1) drop down to the FCS level or lower and play immediately,
(2) transfer to an FBS program and sit out the 2014 season to satisfy NCAA transfer rules, or
(3) sit out the 2014 season entirely.
After the 2014 season, CK could then play at the FBS level or make himself available as an early entrant to the 2015 NFL draft which is highly unlikely IMO.
In other words, we’ve likely seen the last of CK on the big stage of major college football.
