I admit the years and years of inconsistency has taken its toll on me. But to see him have success is worth me eating a ton of crow. He is a good man and a solid coach. If anyone deserves this it is him. Just glad a good guy is getting rewarded. I would love nothing more than for him to get this next win and be able to smile in the post game press conference again.

One look at his win/loss percentages will tell you he is slightly above average. That is not a knock. There are a lot of coaches who are below average. If they don't like the data, they should encourage the coach to increase his winning percentage, not discourage those who share the information.

CBB is a good dude I believe and a decent coach.
Every 3-4 years he gives us hope but he will never produce a powerhouse program.

Agree!!! Iv been vocal about BB and a lot of it he deserved and prob wouldn’t have gotten this long anywhere else… but with that said he’s done enough imo to stick around a while longer with this team. And he’s recruiting better and the facilities are up to par , hopefully this run will get ppl back excited and make LJC what it used to be. I just hope we don’t go another 2-3 years missing the tourney I hope we can build off this year unlike the last S16 run and be more consistent.

set the standard of what Clemson Basketball SHOULD be going forward.

Using our PATHETIC history is no measuring stick, ever.

The measuring stick SHOULD be - pick the best 10 programs in the country historically over the last 20 years - maybe even longer - and figure out how do we do that ?


It starts with DYNAMIC leadership - and we don't have that.


It would be GREAT to be getting butterflies Saturday morning, knowing we have the biggest basketball game in our history coming up that day.


We ARE happy - we just want more of this nearly every single year - or at least something similar . . . most of the time. And our current guy has proven, without question, he isn't the guy to do it.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.
