Pretty sure he knows what Dabo makes. I think Greg was simply saying that Dabo could use that to get increases if needed. Of course, we all know that Dabo uses WINS to get raises

You're right - you're not Dabo. If you think for a minute that he would do this, you really don't know or understand him as well as you think...
"However, if I were him, I'd always leave the possibility of me leaving open for leverage purposes. Cha-Ching."

I believe that Terry Don Phillips really believed in his heart that Dabo would be a perfect fit for Clemson only if he could get a jump start that would give Dabo the time he would desperately need to work his way into being a a new first time ever HC. And he staked his own job on Dabo succeeding!!!

We all know he’s not going back to Bama. However, if Dabo

were to leave, the biggest punch in the gut to those pompous arses, would be taking the Auburn job. After I was done crying, I’d be roaring with laughter watching those egotistical idiots squirm.

Well, there is no opening at Alabama

so that is the #1 reason that a coach would not go there.

You don’t give fans enough credit. Fans stick

By the good coaches. If BB is still here and he is the fans deserve some credit even if a vocal minority exists.

He said superiority complex like that’s a good thing. Palm Beach Bama is not. And their dominance on the field is waning as well.

Based on what?

LSU head coach hasn't proved anything, yet. He brought in a hot shot young "passing coordinator" that was the real architect of their offense paired with a 23 y/o graduate QB that had 2 online classes and was studying football like a pro. They caught lightning in a bottle. I don't see them being dominant in the SEC West soon.

A triumph of the bleeding obvious. McElroy is an analyst like William Perry is an Olympic sprinter. ESPN once again manufactures controversy when news is slow. And there is no doubt he has leveraged the so-called possibility for money for him, his coaches and the program. Geez. The guy does have an MBA you know.As he said in another context, why would he listen to someone he wouldn't ask for advice?

That Bama program is in the process of fading away. The age of Clemson is here to stay.
