Clemson linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. was named Pro Football Focus' national defensive player of the week:

"Trotter was a force to be reckoned with in Clemson's win over Notre Dame. He finished the game with three sacks from just seven pass-rushing attempts, another two defensive stops and an interception he returned for a touchdown."
