Watson or Henry 4 Heisman? It's up to us!

If I were voting for Heisman Deshaun would get my vote without question. In fairness, I'm a Clemson fan who is very biased. Still I don't think Henry is anywhere near as good a player as Deshaun. IMO you could take up to 20 different RBs around the nation, stick them in Bamas backfield and hand them the ball 40 times a game and get Heisman stats. Wayne Gallman would be a Heisman candidate if he carried the rock that much. I'd be willing to bet Alabama has at least 1 or 2 more RBs on their roster who could do about the same thing. Not to decredit RBs but Henry is not Todd Gurley or AP. Deshaun Watson could not be replaced by anybody in the nation. If Alabama was able to trade Henry for Watson at the beginning of the year Alabama would be undefeated and Clemson probably wouldn't have even made it in the playoff. I think this is a very valid point that Heisman voters need to realize. That's why I say its up to us. If we can lobby the Heisman voters hard enough with info that says Deshaun is irreplaceable and Henry isn't then maybe we can help him bring home the trophy. Get to work Tigers!!!

Just watch the Bama games, Henry comes out on all obvious passing plays. That should tell everyone that he may be a great RB but not a completed RB. He can't pass block and I'd take Gullman over just a pure runner. Gullman can Run with power, Pass Block, and catch a pass out of the back field. Henry not so much. Go Tigers.

then there's no way they would have won all those games; which he said validated his claim that he should win the Heisman. David Pollack thought he was crazy (rightfully so), as any unbiased voter can see that McCaffrey and Watson are way more important to their respective teams than Henry is to Bama. *sigh*

According to Rivals, Alabama has 5 other RBs they have recruited in the last 2 years that are as highly or higher rated than 6.0/borderline 4/5 star as Derrick Henry. There probably wouldn't be any drop off at all if he weren't there. Doesn't sound like someone worth a Heisman trophy to me.
