Watson just explained everything we need to know today

The lofty expectations are creating unwanted pressure on him and the rest of the team. To repeat the feat of last year, Clemson cannot afford to lose a single game, or maybe one if the chips fall right. This is a heavy load for a college player . In tennis we call it the "yips". Feeling the pressure of a big match and suddenly you are unable to serve, even though you've hit a million servers perfectly in your lifetime. Baseball players can experience the same thing when they are tight at the plate due to pressure situations, and suddenly an all star can't even put the bat on the ball .

I hope Dabo and the rest of the coaches can get this straightened out. Dabo is probably experiencing a little bit of it too. not much dancing so for this year. If the coach is tight you can bet on his players being tight as well.

All of them need to get back to focusing on the next play, and not worry about getting back to the playoff. If we are dropping passes and throwing picks Against Georgia Tech, Louisville and FSU, the college football playoff will be the least of our worries...

Give the team a break. I would like to see the critics do better. Wonder how many of them were top football players.

We are also having the same problem that Bama has. EVERYONE brings their A game when they play us.
Being ranked high has its extreme drawbacks.

I know what you're saying with the baseball analogy, when I wasn't hitting well it was mostly due to being uneasy and tight in the box like you described..as cliche as it is our Tigers just have to take it one game at a time. I think a nice win against state and an impressive road win at G Tech. (first time in 13 years) will give this team all the confidence it needs to progress to the next step
