So far, he's had three staight 3 and out's, give straight incompletions, and he's almost thrown 3 picks.
The kid can flat out play, but there are definitely some holes in his game Morris and Scott are going to need to fix in a hurry if he's going to be consistent at the college level. Just saying.

Take it from a pro, Camp Director Differ, who stated that he was one of two in camp that is college ready. Stated he plays his best when he is under pressure. I watch the entire 7 on 7 game he play in. Came in late in the game. Look colded entering the contest late. While that defense he faced had been out there for a while and was playing very loose. Those receivers playing with him looked tight, slow, and confused during many of their route running. He didn't have the big and aggressive receivers and the team that he faced.

His stats, season after season, show that he is 100 pct legit. But, you're right, he looks pretty bad. Maybe he'll get straight.

Which game are you referring too?
I thought Boyd looked more or less the same as Parker in the bowl against S Florida...overall ineffective.
Parker was bad. I've never been as frustrated as I have watching football as I was in the 2nd half of the 2010 season. I still get angry visualize him sprinting towards the sidelines and throwing a last-second bullet that would take a circus catch to make before running out of bounds.

yes, but I'm not putting that all on Parker (which was what confused football fans do). Aside from Harper, we had little to no playmakers on offense (Ellington was also injured), our o-line wasn't so great, and Billy Napier was in way over his head & called plays like he was playing x-box live. Parker was a gamer-- he would have flourished under a better coach / system.

Watson threw a lot of tight balls right on the money. The receiver couldn't make the catch.

I watched him a bit and saw he wasn't playing great...but you also have to remember this is a 7-on-7, and the players have been playing football with each other for like a week. There is no chemistry and they're learning the plays as they go. There's a decided advantage against all QBs in this scenario since the DBs are essentially doing what they always do: cover wide receivers. There's a lot that goes into being a top-notch QB, which is why it's so difficult (and why pretty much all the QBs were struggling to a degree).
I'm not worried. The guy is extremely smart and talented. He'll be fine.
