I'll never be mad at a win. But the whole hoping our D holds up while the O offers minimum help in the 4th was frustrating.

Thankfully, we held up but I was not comfortable until we intercepted the ball in the closing moments. Felt too easy for FSU to potentially hit a big play to have us on pins and needles in the final minutes.

but they didnt and a couple of late plays made Castellanos look like a dolt so that was fun.

The big plays were open plenty of times too. We just got lucky that Castellanos can’t throw and their receivers can’t catch.

But that doesn’t give me much confidence that Tom Allen will be capable of preventing Louisville from dropping 40+ on us.

I would've felt better about the D's performance if it wasn't for the 2 busted coverages that FSU thankfully dropped, even their fumble at our 8 yrd line was more on them then us forcing it on the read option play. I'll take mistakes by the other team since we give so many freebies on 4th and 1 turnover on downs and whatever else, but it would be nice to see the Defense actually be the ones to set the tone and start wrecking havoc in the trenches.

Back during the summer Tom Allen said we should not call them turnovers, but takeaways. The D hasn't been taking many away this year.
