Washington Post Article on Clemson Football success...

Sep 21, 2016, 2:32 PM

I normally don't read the Washington Post (can't stand their overwhelming liberal bias) but found the following article quite interesting:

Just want to point out to everyone a good source of the answer to IPTAY revenue riddle:

"In fiscal 2017 — which started in July and runs through next July — Clemson athletics and IPTAY are projected to earn a combined $145.8 million, and spend $145.7 million. Just two years ago, both those figures were about $101 million."

I haven't looked it up but I know the 2013-14 or 2014-15 revenue reported by forbes, USA Today or any other organization was closer to 70-80 million. Showing without a doubt that only a small portion of IPTAY contributions are included in AD revenue.

The WAPO sports section isn't so bad,

neither are some of the hard news stories, or local / metro stories. The editorials can be pretty biased though. Sports has gotten a lot better since Mike (un)Wise left. He was the one leading the charge for the the Redskins name change.
