on next to last play vs 8-4 Nebraska.

I know since I was there with GF #1 who is still #1 today. LOL.

With a minute left in game Clemson was at the Nebraska 10 yd line with 4 downs to win game game but QB Harper was rushed & sacked, threw ball away on 2nd down and on 3rd down he throw a strike to RB C.J. Spiller who had placed himself squarely in the middle of the end-zone where he went up to catch the ball and as he came down with seemingly the winning catch..two Husker DB’s hit him at once and the ball popped out.

CJ always said years later that in his sleep he comes down with that ball and always did in practice.

On the last play and being rushed Harper threw a bad pass and game was over and Huskers won 26-21.

NE finished 9-4 and CU 7-6 which was Dabo’s 1st season as interim head coach, I believe.

CJ & J Davis (of the famous Thunder & Lightning duo) had only about 45 total total yds of the O’s 210 yds total vs NE’s 361 total yds.

Clemson led 14-3 at half but all of Tigers points came off turnovers which didn’t last as Huskers scored 20 pts in 3rd and 3 pts in 4th while Clemson was shut out in 4th.

Dabo said after game that the Nebraska D line manhandled Clemson’s O line.

Attendance was 67,282 with Nebraska fans seemingly filling about 55% of the seats as they always do since the Corn Huskers are the biggest entertainment in the state during that time of year.

Good game and underdog Tigers were competitive.

I haven't thanked you lately LBB for your dedicated and unwavering support of our Clemson Tigers. You sir epitomize the saying that a Clemson man needs no introduction. clearly this season didn't go as expected, but once September 24 rolls around, that Clemson flag will be waving high and proud.

Go Tigers - declaw the wildcats. I hope we play them in post season basketball too.

Yes. Ndamukong Suh was in Harpers lap every play in about 1.2 seconds. He wrecked us that game. Suh has to have the worst attitude of any player I have ever seen. Can’t stand him.

and ran into a Huskers Fan that was my Mom’s Hopice Nurse in Charleston during her final days . . . N. Suh was the anchor for their D Line . . . Spiller makes that catch 9 out of 10 times . . .

Drove down from D.C. (where I was living at the time).

That was the last bowl game I went to prior to the 2019 National Championship in Santa Clara.

Who knew that I would be following CJ to Buffalo years later - crazy where life takes you!

I was also thinking "the more things change, the more they stay the same" in regard to our OL being manhandled. Been that way for years but we did buy enough time for our QBs to perform some magic in 2016 and 2018 (and almost in 2015).
