Who is going to the Charleston Classic games for the bball team?

The Tigers have won their last two MTEs (Multiple Team Events) the last two years winning the Ashville Championship in 2023 beating UAB and Davidson, and the Sunshine Slam in 2024 last season beating San Francisco and Penn State
The three best teams by far in this new 4 team field format looking at Kenpom in no particular order are Clemson, West Virginia and Georgia. Xavier is in complete rebuild mode under Richard Pitino who left New Mexico. They got off to a rocky start at 3-2.
So I believe they need to beat West Virginia to most likely take on UGA in the championship to build a potential better SOS.
It's cool that the two games are Friday night with Clemson being the 1st game, and the two games Sunday championship and consolation are Sunday afternoon. So you could do the trifecta of bkball Friday, Furman Fball game Saturday, and Sunday bjball again.

Not if they have to face Xavier in that 2nd game. They look pretty bad. Got blown out by Santa Clara at home.

Don't sleep on any of the teams, Santa Clara is a top mid-major team this year, they're only 5 spots behind Georgetown on Kenpom. Xavier is the weakest team for sure, but Pitino's teams can score with ease.
Also, WVU is going to be the toughest team Clemson could play. Russ Hodge is a defensive mastermind, and has a top 20 ranked defense (depending on which site you choose), and led North Texas team last year to a top 50 ranking defensively.
The games are all going to be gritty, physical matchups, which make for entertaining basketball.

Oh yes, no question. San Francisco and Santa Clara are right behind Gonzaga and St Mary's In the WCC. But my point is Xavier might be bottom 3 of the Big East and 100s Kenpom rating.
Really want to beat WVU and play UGA.
