Wanted to get this post in before the usual in-game delirium

Sep 8, 2023, 6:29 PM

hits the TNets tomorrow.

Recent medical events finally convinced my cardiologist to schedule a heart Catheterization for me next week. It may seem odd to wish for a test to show up a heart problem, but at this point, I consider that better than no explanation for the severe shortness of breath and dizzy spells / vertigo that have dogged me for nearly a year now.

Bad news is, since I already had a triple bypass back in 2015, he says if more blockages are found, they will almost certainly either just install stents, or maybe not be able to do anything. He said they seldom want to do a 2nd bypass due to scar tissue, etc.

So, I am asking the TNET family for your prayers, that this test will show something that is repairable, and have a good outcome. If stents need to be placed, that will almost certainly be done at the same time, during the Cath procedure. If they don't find anything wrong, then I am truly out of medical options. I have already been seen and given a clean bill of health by a lung specialist, and TWO heart nuclear stress tests were also negative for problems. It is only now that I am starting to have angina attacks that another Cath was ordered.
