WANNA fix the portal and NI L mess?

Does anyone really want this fixed...he** no...great to complain about...been cheating for years...surefire fix...make all student athletes pass a real college entrance exam that shows they are capable of completing a college degree..a real one, not underwater basket weaving or communication for football players or business of the long snap...a real major from an academic department...that will fix it quickly...gonna have to work on some HS preparation!

That’s unrealistic. The academic part if the game has been an afterthought most places for eons.
The only way, IMO, to regain some control is to make transfers sit out a season again. The insanity of what’s going on now isn’t good for anyone. The players, the fans, and especially the coaches. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for a coaching staff.

There is no thought that's why it is after...should college be where a large group congregated to speculate on playing in the NFL or a place for learning? Why do you think that the U of Chicago dropped football in 1939...many donors were more worried about football and the big10 than academics...sounds familiar don't it!

At the same time, NFL created a development league. Those who don’t wish to go to college and/or don’t qualify can the. Don’t the developmental league. Just like basketball and baseball and hockey, etc.
Don’t force the kids to go to college if they just want to skip and get into the nfl.

teams, NBA does this - and moderately successful - but it still hasn't taken off and its easier to do with the smaller rosters there.

conferences of the time, is what got the ACC the nickname "The White Meat League" years ago. It was NOT a complimentary term.

Go back to if you transfer you must sit out one year AND place a ceiling on the amount of NIL $$$ a player can receive - Very simple to fix!

The real question is does anyone making money from NIL and Portal want to fix it. I don't know a single CFB fan that that would not overall everything about college football, from NIL, to the portal, and on to how they crown a champion.
