Not amazing, but good. Sometimes drags in the middle of seasons (season 2 and 3 primarily), but entertaining nonetheless.

Season 2 was good at the beginning and end but dragged a bit in the middle. Season 3 started well and has had good moments but was a disappointment overall (to me at least). Hoping that Season 4 will bring some new twists.

Games of Thrones is the best out there. The last 6-8 episodes of season 3 of The Walking Dead were the most unnecessarily drawn out things I've ever seen in my life. Other than that I enjoyed The Walking Dead.

Walking Dead became so drawn out by mid-season, it made me angry and I stopped watching.
Andrea is one of the most annoying characters of all time. In ANY apocalyptic situation, that woman would have been raped and murdered in like the first 3 minutes.
They over sold that black chick with the sword's "hardness" too. It was comically overdone.

It's a very nuanced and sophisticated show. If you're expecting nonstop zombie-killing extravagance, you may be disappointed.
What makes the show revolutionary is the realistic portrayal of the end of times, the collapse of social structures and the conflicts that result.
There are some slow parts - but to me, the suspense that those parts build is one of the reasons that it's one of the best shows on TV.

Yeah. I think one of the reasons the show caught on was due to the special effects.
Most of the major networks aren't even able to pull of what AMC does in that regard...at least in any meaningful, realistic way.

1st season was interesting... 2nd season was decent but slow

3rd season started off extremely interesting, but devolved into a poorly made, slow paced bad television show.
There are so many glaring errors in the 3rd season. I actually watched every single episode until about half way through 3rd season and dropped it. They producers/writers/directors started taking the audience for granted and got really lazy.
