I'm sure no outside water bottles - get ready for the next price increase on water at the concessions. Now going to $8!

It's really insensitive towards the visually impaired. And it's incovenient for anyone in the upper deck as well. If it ain't broke, don't fix it; I can guarantee nothing illegal has ever been smuggled into Death Valley in a binoculars case.

After SCar instituted their clear-bag policy it was only a matter of time before Clemson did.
I also notice that they have quietly ended the policy of being able to bring closed water bottles into the stadium. Used to be you could bring some with you, especially during hot games.

"Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: artificial noisemakers, backpacks, non-clear bags or purses, banners/flags/flag poles, coolers, outside food or beverage, umbrellas, weapons of any kind, or any bag larger than the permissible size."
Hard to say how strictly they'll enforce it.

I think the security was fine to begin with! It's simple! You have a bag have it checked, move on! I've been body searched for having a phone buldging in my pocket last year. Security is good and I'm thankful. This wasn't needed!

This is for everyone's safety...let there be no ########. You can't demand to have a safe atmosphere for family and kids and leave a loop hole for some idiotic terrorist dumb### to kill and maim numerous people.
Yes you can't prevent it all (still think the advent of personal drones was terrible idea) but you can make it difficult.

minute obstacles. Let's give some lunatic every opportunity to ruin 80,000+ people's experience. Didn't we have some nut jump down on the sideline with the Louisville players a couple years ago? What if the guy had a means of harming someone, the players, or the coaches that was hidden in a bag? Security should be proactive, not reactive. You saw what happened to Howard's Rock? You don't wait for someone's life to be ruined before you make a change.
That is some seriously flawed logic there. It may not make as drastic of an impact on safety as say metal detectors, bomb sniffing dogs, and metal detectors but every bit helps. The easier security's job is, the quicker people will get seated and safer they will be. But to say that it wont help with security is nonsensical. You must not have seen many documentaries on bombers lining luggage and bags with explosives and weapons in an attempt to hide it from security. Terrorist activity at a ballgame isn't a question of if, but when. I fail to see how a move to make it safer could cause so much grief with so many grown ### adults.
Quit whining, go in the game, watch the Tigers dominant and go tailgate/home to have your fun. If it's too much to bare, stay home and sell me your tickets.
