I agree 100%. First of all if you're going to be on a COLLEGE sports show on TV learn how to PROPERLY PRONOUNCE a UNIVERSITY's NAME. It's not that hard for an intelligent person to pronounce CLEMSON without a ZEN at the end. You don't say come here ZEN ,...you say come here SON ..OKAY. The guy sounds like a whiny metro sexual who obviously has NEVER BEEN AROUND ....BAMA fans or Usuc fans.

He looks like a tour manager for blink 182 and has literally never said a single intelligible thing on that show. Not once. I hate everything about that show actually. unfortunately he is correct in several aspects. usually i am at the game so i dont really see how this board acts during games. i was not able to go to orlando so i watched the game with some friends. came on tigernet a couple of times during the game and it was out of control the way some who frequent this site a lot were acting. we are actually winning the game and some were just brutal to coaches and players alike. would have hated to see what would happen had we lost. like i said usually i am not subject to this behavior because i am actually at the game supporting the tigers. i guess it makes some feel like real men to talk sh!t about the program. very very sad really.

Then I watched the video and was more embarrassed for him. The text doesn't convey just how upset he was. It gave off a real "Stop it, meanies!" Vibe. I am not sure he has the emotional strength for his new chosen profession of hanging out and talking about other people's efforts. Perhaps he should return to his previous job as a fiddler in The Band Perry.
Needless to say, telling someone to kill themselves on social media is pathetic and childish. Regretably, these are the times we live in, when people dehumanize those on TV and say ridiculous and yes, hurtful things. But on the other hand...if someone told you to kill yourself over your take on donuts, CHANCES ARE they were trying to be hyperbolic. And they are one guy. And you've just judged the entire fan base.

I love ESPN. I love sports. 99.9% of Clemson fans are class acts. Just because a few idiots decided to contact ESPN and act like the idiots they are, that doesn't mean our fan base are generally rude. Probably most of us are Class Acts. But I would find a 99.9% figute very hard to believe. For example, rather than just ignoring his tirade there have been many classless things said on this thread. Death Valley holds 81,000 Clemson Fans. .1% of that is 81 fans. Less than 60 fans have commented on this thread and that does not even include the people who said to just ignore this guy... 60 total comments. I know not every Clemson Fan is represented here, but not every Clemson Fan is represented in Death Valley.
I think .1% is probably not too bad of a number. But, for the sake of argument, even if you said 1% or even 10%... that is still a lot, and the vast majority, of Clemson Fans who do not tell people to kill themselves and act like fools on social media.
Every school has their ########, and I will say that this guy is probably one of them. Outside of a few people that just want to hate, the majority of people say that we have the nicest fanbase for an away team, when you actually spend time to visit and know us.
But sure, he has every right to sit in a bubble, judge hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people based on the actions of a few, and go on a rant on national television.

As much as I love Clemson (or any large group of people) there will be some members of our group that I disagree with on some issues. Just like anyone. But everyone has heard or seen some of those people to which it isn't a game, it's an opportunity for personal attack against anyone. Taking out their aggression on ________ (Pick several: refs, Dabo, trainers, kicker, members of their team, members of our team, other fans, family members). This isn't just a Clemson problem either. And I think it is a higher number than the 0.1% mentioned earlier. Sure most fans are great people, but in my life I see at least 20% haters (dumpers) out there looking for any little injustice to tear others down. It's the job of the other people to support our team through thick and thin. We have had a lot of thick here lately and still you see the dumpers in full force at every injustice or imperfection over a 60:00 game.
I don't agree with this yahoo from ESPN at all though because this is the same in groups across the country. In fact Clemson fans have way fewer of these sorts of people than other fan bases from my view. I am glad to be continuing my ESPN boycott ever since "##########". Other than Clemson games it has been years since I have seen anything on there. Obviously they get clicks or screen views when they post provacative stuff which encourages behavior like this guy.

I've tried to like him, as he was complimentary of Clemson after the Louisville game. But he's a bona fide lightweight and the clear weak link on his show. Elika and Golic suffer his inanity and dumb jokes with great aplomb, IMHO. He's just a shock jock trying to play sports analyst, and it does not go well for him. I will be stunned if he or his show -- which clearly panders to a younger, supposedly hipper viewership -- makes it to the air next year. That being said, friends, why give him a reason to expose his rear end? Choose to be the bigger guy.

I've never seen this guy, and I doubt many of you have either. This is the blueprint for how ESPN/media underlings try to get their stock to rise. They see a fanbase they feel they can target, make antagonizing comments to get that group riled up, and then watch their mentions & clicks go crazy.
I personally find Danny Kanell to be ok, and most here would probably defend him because he carries the #GoACC banner...but this is exactly how he rose to fame. He trolled the SEC & Bama, and of course everyone in the SEC bit and started calling him an ###...and the anti-SEC side was "saved" by an ESPN analyst who finally "spoke the truth". This dude simply sees an untapped well where he can troll our fanbase to get mentions, and build a fanbase of people who don't like Clemson.

I find it sad that he has taken the attention away from a great football team and placed that attention on something to distract the team. He has hurt the University, its fan base and our football team. A shame ESPN allowed him to do this.
I know that talking about sports is hard to find new material, but to rant about one particular school when all schools have fans that sometimes hurts the schools image, is something I don't understand. He did more to hurt Clemson in 5 min's than anything the fans could ever do. A shame that he has taken what someone must have said to him and condemned a whole fan base for it.
ESPN has stepped to a very low point when they allow this kind of behavior by one of their sports talk host.
This makes me sad.
