win the SEC championship. I, for one, don't care how they do from here on out...but when late-November rolls around, we may actually be pulling for them to beat Alabama and win the SEC championship to allow us to claim on of the top two spots in the BCS. I see USuC, as of today, the best team left in the east, and the team w/the best shot of getting to Atlanta. UGAy is done...they will lose at Auburn and possibly vs UF. Mizz will lose to USuC at home. I don't see TN playing USuC as well as they did UGAy...that was a once in a lifetime game and they came up short and have nothing left to play for. I will say this...if UGAy does win out and Mizz does as well, minus a loss to SC, then the Clemson/SC game will decide the East, due to the tie breaker being BCS ranking. If SC beats us, they will be the higher BCS ranked team and will be the east champion...if they lose, it will likely be UGA who seeks in (although I really can't see this happening).
Back to my point...I think USuC will win the east and we could possibly need them to win their first conference championship in 1000 years for us to jump Alabama. How crazy would it be for them to celebrate a conference championship, but know they sent us to the National Championship game by winning. Lol
Lots of football to be played...but that's a very real scenario.

SC with a trip to the national championship game on the line for us! ###...it doesn't matter about them, the scenario is us playing for the national championship if they win. You're telling me that you had rather sacrifice an opportunity that comes along once in a lifetime, just to make sure a 10-2 USC team doesn't win a conference championship that would literally be meaningless beside our national championship from the same year. You are not a true fan of Clemson...you are just an enemy of USC. I'm both, and I never pull for them, ever...but in this case, you are #### straight I would be pulling for us to go to the national championship game.

First you nor anyone not at the stadium "pulling" for a team does nothing to change the outcome. Clemson will win what we win and the rest will take care of itself. At the end of the day I will be very surprised if the coots don't lose another game before they play us (and probably 2).

There is a post above me talking about SOS and it is sound. We played a full-strength UGA squad and won. FSU is on deck. Still an opportunity against SCAR and if we meet our goals, a decent Coastal matchup.
Alabama still has to play ball each week. LSU found a passing game. So does Oregon. Stanford plays the type of football that can beat anyone. UCLA is pretty good too.
Basically, plenty of reasons to focus on Clemson and what we control.
We don't need to be part-time cheerleaders for gamecocks for us to be successful. Not even logical.
