Vegas odds on Cade Klubnik's stats this season

BetOnline sent out over/unders for some college football QBs this season, including Clemson's Cade Klubnik. Here are the numbers they've set for Klubnik on passing yards and touchdowns in the regular season:

Cade Klubnik - Total Pass Yds 2023 Regular Season
Over/Under 3200½

Cade Klubnik - Total TD Passes 2023 Regular Season
Over/Under 29½

Starting all 12 regular season games, DJ Uiagalelei passed for 2,511 yards with 22 touchdown passes last season. Klubnik also tossed a touchdown pass and tallied 98 passing yards in the regular season.

Yards-wise, the Vegas totals are pretty lofty numbers as Deshaun Watson was the last to accomplish over 3,200 passing yards in the regular season at Clemson (3,626 in 2016 before the ACC title game), but more recently in his last 12-game regular season (2019), Trevor Lawrence did toss 30 touchdown passes.

If Klubnik throws for 3200 yards and 30 TDs in 12 games book your flights and hotels in Pasadena or New Orleans because we'll be 13-0.

Hopefully it’s Pasadena because we don’t have the best of luck when playing in New Orleans.

I'm betting the over. Barring injury, Klubnik in any form of the Air Raid is going to be prolific. Almost every starter on our offense is better than any starter on TCU last year possibly excluding Quentin Johnson who was on the preseason Biletnikoff watchlist.

In his one season with Riley though he put up almost as much as he had in his first two years combined:

2020-2021 55 rec 1121 yds 8 tds
2022 60 rec 1069 yds 6 tds

We have a talented WR room, and you have to believe that Riley is salivating like Tim the tool man Taylor looking at the tools he has at his disposal this season.
