What an incredibly bizarre layout. "Sidelines" moved behind the baskets, and a huge amount of space between sideline and seating.

What are your thoughts? It's kind of neat, I guess. Better than Oregon's, that's for sure.

There was a year or two they did that at LJ. IT WAS STUPID. Early 70s I think

and I kept waiting for someone to fall off and hurt themselves, but it never happened.....however, that configuration makes it great for concerts....saw several bands there and enjoyed each show....its not as good as the Tennessee Performing Arts Center acoustically, but Memorial Gym is unique.
