I agree with you, but I don't think UGA is done. All I really care about is that we get back to the NCG this year and start a new streak.

Brock Bowers was such a key piece to UGA. The generational TE is amazing in football.
Bowers. Gronk. Kelce.
idky it just messes up the best of defenses. I don't see UGA backfilling that in a way that can get around Khalil and Carter (and Brown and Woodaz))
i'm buying the dip. I'm sold on the flip. I think Bowers is the only reason they won in 2021.
Charlotte changed the CFB world.
Atlanta will do the same thing. If you rewatch that 2021 game. UGA looked zero confidence . not nervous but not elite. Clemson is that team this time around.
Clemson Football is poised for another run.
Goodwin is good.
Riley is good if he quits ovetthinking and acting scared.

if you rewatch the UGA game. the georgia sideline had zero swag.
and it wasn't until the pick 6 that this broke open.
the Sanford Stadium sounds like Death Valley sounded like in our CFP run.
everything UGA is today is what Clemson was and vice versa. I really think ya'll are about to meet the Dabo Swinney that repeatedly put 40points on Nick Saban's defense.
See ya'll at the track meet. Hopefully KJ Bolden can defense Moore and Wesco.

Are you counting on UGA'S lack of swag from a 2021 game? You might want to start preparing yourself for the likelihood this game goes one of two ways. 1. CK and the oline are improved and Tigers keep it close for 3 quarters before Georgia pulls away. 2. Clemson's offense isn't better and Kirby is looking to make a statement. In scenario 2, Kirby gives Dabo the Oregon treatment. Kentucky moved the ball on Clemson's defense. I'm pretty sure Georgia can.

Transfers were required to sit out a year. Now they aren’t. Plus, NIL is now a thing. This is a different era of college football, and Dabo hasn’t shown that he can lead an elite program in this current environment.
In fact, Dabo has shown that he consistently does less with more in this current environment. The criticism is warranted, and it will persist until he shows that his way works a lot better than it has the last three years.

This model hasn’t produced a playoff run since the portal became king. We’re kinda playing with a handicap from the start. I’m not saying it’s impossible to win without using the portal; I am saying it’s highly improbable. Facts are the last five champions featured many star transfers. We haven’t sniffed one since the portal era became true free agency. I hate it. College football is dead.

I like Rece Davis' take. There's a short term verdict on Dabo's recruiting and decision to not use the portal -- the UGA game. There's an intermediate term verdict on Dabo's approach -- the 2023 season, the ACC record, bowl invitation, and improvement of o-line, QB and WR positions over the next year or two.
Longer term, we can only hazard a guess, as so many unknown variables and larger forces are at work. But coming back to the short term, a big time Tiger effort vs. UGA immediately impacts the story. And possibly even impacts Clemson's leverage in terms of conference realignment.
Clemson vs. UGA. More at stake than usual.
