We are 23rd ranked public school which is the real indicator.

That number seems relatively the same compared to rankings in previous years..

...let me get this straight. This is actually a ranking where the 'less smarter' (or 'academic quality') you are, the higher you are ranked in this poll, THUS this is a good thing, right?!

So, I s'pose this is the same type of thinking that deems it a great idea to hand out participation trophies, amirite?

Ranking colleges is like arguing over who is the best musician. It is completely subjective, and a waste of everyone's time. Nothing more than paid marketing for "top tier" schools.

I am with you. I will take a top 25 ranking because those numbers matter to some but rankings do seem more "political" in nature. Besides, for me Clemson is #1. Those folks that ranked Clemson as #23 are just wrong.

As for that quote? Priceless.
