IMHO, Homer has got to be at minimum top 4. If you are old enough to remember, he struggled mightily his Soph. season. I dont know that I remember a Clemson QB, that improved more in one year than Homer. No, he was not the most talented, but his heart and desire more than made up for it. In the National Championship game, especially our last drive, he was amazing! After the game, he had to be given fluids intravenously... he was spent. never forget, he also has a RING! while I am on a roll... to all complaining about the Sugar Bowl... be thankful you did not live through Hootie Ingram, 2-9, and 3-6-2 and losing 56-20 to the chickens. Hold your heads up Tiger brethren, the best is yet to come!

I was at school through Hootie and Red Parker. I think Red recruited pretty well and Charlie Pell benefited from it. Only good year while I was there was 1974, we were 7-4, but alas, no bowl. Believe me, what we have now is light years ahead of anything I ever saw back then. Only Danny in the 80's compares. Be thankful.

I would have Deshaun number 1.
Trevor is physically better, but Deshaun managed the game better. He was never rattled.

Deshaun played best when it mattered and had the killer instinct that TL lacks. Throw the stats out when its that close.
