weirdest location where your Clemson ring was noticed

attended the 2015 Fare Thee Well Grateful Dead shows in Chicago and was taking a break between sets of the 2nd show, sitting on the field in the middle of thousands eating a deep dish slice of Pequod's Pizza that I snuck in and this lady making her way through the crowd asked me if that was a Clemson ring
Hell yeah, go Tigers! Finished my slice and thoroughly enjoyed Trey and Bobby and the boys rocking out the 2nd set

Truth is I forgot, but I never wear it anymore.
First, my comfort fit wedding ring spoiled me for comfort, then my silicone wedding band spoiled me for convenience.
Now I no longer care to wear anything other than the silicone band.

like "Small world, I went to Clemson too!" Turn around and there's a dude in a Clemson polo, he had noticed my ring. Chatted with him awhile, turns out we only lived like 10 minutes apart. I've probably still got his number in my phone, said we'd catch up at a football game but never did.
I guess it made sense we were on the same flight direct to Atlanta, but still, what are the odds?

It was my grandfather’s 1950 ring and I was taking it to get resized because it was too big. Made a quick stop for a burger and sat ring down on table while I ate. In the 8 minutes I was gone someone noticed it enough to steal it and may they enjoy the fires of hellll for their sneaky deed.
