Anyone getting rid of You Tube TV if they stay in ESPN fight-what you getting?

I was happy with You Tube TV. Got it set up a few years ago, and we are the staying kind. I can't stand having to remember all the passwords and all the stuff. It works, we're good, we get all our sports...Now they got the fight with Disney. I was just going to get ESPN for a month and then it will be settled, plus we get $20 credit so that almost pays for the ESPN+ app premium for one month-so good to go.

However, is anyone switching to something cheaper? I might as well shop around if I have to do this in a few days...

Thanks!

ESPN/HULU/Disney bundle and a new set of rabbit ears (digital antenna) gets me 99% of what I want and what the fiancé wants.

Paramount+ and Peacock can get you your local CBS and NBC

The Fox local app will get your local fox station. Now if only the local ABC station can go streaming. Not sure why this isn’t included on Disney+

May I ask do you also have cable?

I ask because last week I ditched cable and just have FIOS internet now. I have the ESPN Select/HULU/Disney+ bundle but it wouldnt let me watch college games nor the MNF game last night. It seemed to have wanted a TV subscription with it?

Is it that I should upgrade to the package with Hulu + Live TV?

What services do the other cord cutters have?

We've been back and forth on switching from YouTubeTV ourselves. We share it with my in-laws in Indiana and have that set as our home location so they can watch their local news, but as the price keeps climbing we are looking for other options. If it was just us, the ESPN Unlimited with our other streaming subscriptions would be fine. We might just have to tell the in-laws to pay for their own TV. I'd set them up with a digital antenna but they live far enough from any major cities so that's not a viable option.

Like you went to You Tube a couple of years ago and have been quite happy. I was unaware of any issues between You Tube and Disney as I have not seen any service interuptions. I get still get all my sports channels including ESPN, ACC, SEC, and B1G.

My only complaint is it started around $70 a month and is now near $100 a month while my Spectrum internet services has also increased. I am getting close to the $250 mark again which caused me to cut the cable to start with...

I dropped YouTube TV when I bundled Spectrum. No issues

Unfortunately, making the switch

The bundle for 39.99 gets me more hockey games + the college football stuff. I hate it, because I hate giving ESPN/Disney money directly but YTTV is $90/month. I like saving money more than I hate ESPN/Disney.

You would be shocked at what you can find on the web streaming live with a VPN and a Yandex search if you have solid ad/malware blocking.

Every single Clemson game has been on YouTube for free this year

When there is only 5,000 people watching, they don't bother to block it. They used to cut the broadcast, but no one really cares anymore since the numbers on Clemson games are so low. Save your money, just watch it for free.

Yep, this is what I've been doing.***

I only recently went to You Tube TV to get away from almost $200 a month cable. Haven’t had any issues with getting games on all networks but have started seeing requests from YT or ESPN to contact the other so we won’t lose coverage. Don’t want to go back to cable but sure don’t want to lose sports coverage

I switched to spectrum this week. Costs few bucks more than YouTube but I get a whole lot more value for the money.
