QB under center less important than depth of running back. You see most teams adjusting to the pistol even in short yardage. The idea is that it gives the running back more time to adjust to the hole than the I or single back. When he takes it on the run, harder to adjust to penetration. Pros stay under center more, but they are moving towards college, not the other way around.

I'm sorry but no, he should have been under center and literally fall forward on a qb sneak. It didn't help that we ran a play that had been run several times earlier in the game wit the same motion.

On the super short one - QB sneak I agree with, but there are times when that does not work.
