It's a misleading headline and clickbait....UNC is exploring their options for next round of realignment. Mentions they are right up front with Clemson for a possible change. Ain't going anywhere, anytime soon.

I have always heard the SEC wants unc and va tech. They want to put footprints in areas they don’t already have. Thats why we will unfortunately be going to the Big when the dust settles.

UVA not VaTech. They want the so-called "flagship" universities. University of ___________ (insert any state name here)
For example, UofSuCk claims to be the "flagship" university of South Carolina, when Clemson clearly outclasses them. It's laughable.
