Just checking on Rivals a minute ago. The update on him is 6/99/22. He is now a 4 star on Rivals and the #15 Ath nationally.

That’s why we’ve been successful.
Not because the most highly ranked guys flock to Clemson ... but because we are able to find guys others miss or disregard who have the talent to compliment our 5-star recruits.
You check his offer sheet. I’ll let our coaches decide who to offer.

There are a bunch of others, but if I make the effort to list them, you’ll just discount them because your desired narrative requires that you do.
I suspect you probably weren’t even all that high on Isaiah Simmons because he was a Rivals 3-star and you ‘checked his offer sheet’ and didn’t see Ohio State or Alabama

As it relates to safety Nolan turner is a good example. Isaiah Simmons was a Safety/Linebacker. Tanner muse. None were highly recruited but turned out to be big contributors. While I agree we have to go get the 5* players to sprinkle in. Our two NC teams had the 5* alongside the 4* and underdog players no one wanted.

But it’s all a “false premise” ... these guys didn’t help us win because they had short unimpressive “offer sheets”.
It’s just that simple.
