Can Clemson's offensive line be better in 2016?
The last time we saw Clemson’s offensive line in actual game action, they were paving the way for Deshaun Watson’s record night against Alabama in the National Championship Game. They were good that night, turned heads all of last season, but have a chance to be even better in 2016. Full Story » |

It all starts with leadership at the center position. We're really strong with Guillermo there - his ability to communicate takes pressure off the rest of the young guys.

IMO....
right off the bat, yes! But....
I think that has alot to do with
depth & injuries- Especially at
tackle. I am curious to see how
Pollard-RT and Anchrum progress.
If so....
Yes, the 2016 OL will be better.
Better question, will special teams
be any better (and the secondary)

100% agree with the last part of your post, especially. It is going to be really great to have an OL that is a strength instead of somewhat of a weak link. IMO, and having been an OL at Clemson, I have seen that unit be a weak link in our otherwise strong team. Not anymore, and as the OL goes, so goes the offense. We just think we have been seeing a great team. Just watch it this year. I, like you hope the Special Teams thing gets to be a strength, as well. If so, we certainly will be among the front line lead to the NC again. Great time to be a Tiger.

Our O line and offense as a whole is as talented and as strong as we have been for as long as I can remember from way back. I say that our Offense will be good enough to allow BV to be really aggressive with his front 7 to take pressure off of our young secondary at the beginning of the season to give those guys time to play catch up experience wise. By mid season I'm thinking we will be good on both sides of the ball. FSU is the only game that I'm concerned about, and that's only bc it's on the road!!!

Agree, and it is way past time to go down there and whip that ####. I do think it happens this year. They are no better than we are. Actually, we should have beaten them down there last time, too.
