We skipped out of Clemson and went to Augusta for the night. Had lunch at Cali Dreaming under orders and dinner at the French Market Grille.
Found an antique store across from T-Bonz that was loaded with Masters memorabilia, including Tiger's caddy's white jump suit for $6,500 and an Augusta pin flag signed by Trump for $5,000. Much much more as well.
10/10 (19/19 on the RH Covids scale)
Wood due a gin.

pretty good. Kind of sad because son of and daughter of didn't really want to go around trick or treating. they wanted to hand out candy.
So it's a government shut down at my house due to lack of candy tax revenue.
Saturday we had the annual hay ride with wife's family including SIL's new 79 year old preacher who's going to pop the question to her this week after dating for 2 weeks.
Don't get me started.
Sunday: Went shopping for clothes.

plate in this hour of dire need for the Jounge!
As for the weekend...
Friday, stayed home to watch House of Dynamite on Netflix. Meh.
Saturday, left at 6:mothrafreakingthirty to go to Clemson. I have a post from Sunday about that, if you care to find it. I'm done analyzing Clemson football for the moment.
Sunday, Thirsty Beaver to see Johnny Shakes and the California Quakes. They were freaking awesome and salvaged the weekend.
19/19 Covids, because I was neither shocked nor surprised at the outcome of the game, and I'm sticking to the promise I made to myself before last season NOT to let college football ruin my life.

Friday - had a blast in the neighborhood with all the kids Halloween stuff and getting drunk with neighbors.
Saturday - lifted super heavy at gym and took my time, twas nice to do. Watched a ton of football. I was kicked out of the house so my wife and all her friends and their kids could have a party together. I put on my Ole Miss hoodie and went to the bar to hate watch Gamecocks. It was fun. World Series game was awesome too.
Sunday - long long run and then church to say sorry for being an idiot. Took my son to lunch and then watched the Lions lose BADLY. Josh Allen's won, so that was the only bright spot of football for Sunday. Went to be early.
8/10 - I feel like I should have gotten more done, so minus two points.

Halloween was spent taking oldest two to friends' houses to celebrate without me and wife. Then took youngest around hood to trick or treat and last drove around picking up my other two from their friends'.
Up early Saturday, drive to Raleigh for soccer. Youngest has a tie and a win, middle son has two losses, bad losses. Drive home. Arsenal won again, nice. Clemson lost again, oh no, who gives a shidd anymore. Daughter made semis of another beach volleyball tourney. 8 Tournaments in a row she has finished 2nd or 3rd, never won a tourney. Wife got her to a friend's quinceañera but I was on the road so I couldn't help with that.
Up early Sunday to go back to Raleigh, this time with Wife, Youngest had a win and made it to championship, played the team they tied earlier, had the lead with about 5 minutes to go, gave up a tying goal, went to penalty kicks and they lost. Shenanigans from the coach of the other team, yelling at teenage lineman and calling over extra officials for missing an offsides in an 11U tourney, come to find out she is the owner and founder of the club. Real piece of work. Middle son's team lost bad again, 3-15 in their three games this weekend. Drove home, ate, bedtime.
Busy AF, sporty AF, Arsenal and youngest son's teams were good, Clemson and middle son's teams were bad, so they offset. Will do this again in two weeks and then soccer is over for a couple months.

Friday - left at 0900 to go up to Philly to see lilAPMette in a play at Penn. Took NINE hours to get there in what is usually a 6-hour trip. Saw lots of toney NoVA DC suburbs. Anyhoo, lilAPMette was awesome in her role. Went to dinner. Crashed, saw the Dodgers hung on to win Game 6.
Saturday - quick breafuss with lilAPMette, then back on the road to Virginny. Took us on I-70 in Maryland and it was gorgeous. Full Fall colors on display. Non-urban Maryland is purdy. Got home. Moved a little. Settled in for the best Game 7 in recent memory. Stayed up 'til 0100, but who cares.
Sunday - got a morning walk in, then church, then couch potatoed all afternoon.
9/10 because of sheer exhaustion from the drive and staying up so late, but worth it in both cases.
Did not see a single down of the Clemson game, since I was on the road and they were not on YouTubeTV. Did see a little of LFC and they looked like LFC again, which was nice. But nothing can top that World Series. I am good for sports for a while.

Friday--blowout game
Satday--finished a paper for a class I'm taking...watched Clemson play a turrible first quarter and then a great second quarter right up until the defense let Dook score just before the half...headed on down to Anderson for chain crewing...they did not win either
Sunday--church, lunch, grocery shopping, laundry, Panthies saved the foosball weekend again by winning at Green Bay...wifeof made taco soup for dinner 'twas delish
11/10 because I'm so numb to Clemson football having major suckage and I refuse to be drug down by their turribleness

London girl went a little ballistic when I told her I wasn't footing her airline ticket. The begging and cajoling was followed by the guilt trip. I feel bad about those pictures I talked her into sending. I promised I would delete them. My LA girl may be my soulmate. She hasn't asked for anything yet. She has her own money in diversified investments and both kidneys as far as I can tell. One of the most interesting people I have ever texted with. If she comes to S.C. I may become a slave to her Asian wiles. Fangers crossed. Eyes wide open. Wallet closed until I see living breathing proof of life.

Friday - managed to get out of having to trick or treat, so went grocery shopping then the bar for Golden Tee. I'm back on my game. 22 and 18 under for my two rounds
Saturday- watched Tigers at home mostly alone. Other MSynan came in for a little while shaking her head at our defense.
The big thing though was littlest, 11 yo RSynan dancing on the main stage of our fancy Performing Arts Center for a Cure for Diabetes fundraiser. She did an amazing job and Mom and Dad were very proud
Sunday - football, then played pickleball in the evening
17/19 COVIDS with all 17 coming courtesy of RSynan

Fri - just chilled and hung around the house
Sat - just chilled and hung around the house. Cleaned the den, oh for about 6 hours. Place was a wreck and we had let it get out of hand. Little one, who is one of the most incredible children to ever walk this earth, is a freaking SLOB. But it is on us because we have let her be this way. Son came over to help move the heavy furniture and clean. Took him to a nice meal at Feed Sack, had the fish and chips which is legit. Went to Locals where we watched the coots lose and the end of the World Series.
Sun - went to the club to prepare for the Palmetto Amateur, check it out later this week at www.palmettoamateur.net Went to play bingo and have a couple cold ones. Home and crash.

Friday night they took the 7 year old out for Trick or Treating while wife and I passed out candy. Little one had a bucket full from the lower part of the neighborhood and then wife of took her around our section and she got more full size candy bars than I've ever seen in a Halloween haul. Made chili that was awesome. Then Daughter and Roomie went out to five points. Son of went to the Spring Valley game. I fell asleep on the couch and missed both of their returns. Woke up at 4 and went to bed.
Saturday slept late, helped a little with son of's party prep at the neighborhood clubhouse. Reminded wife that this whole thing was a terrible idea. The kid sent out a whole school invite at a 5A school for a space that holds maybe 100 people inside and out. His thought was there would be maybe 50 people who would be blown away by his Halloween themed party. More on that later. Watched Clemson lose. Grumped. Went to the grocery for dinner and stuff for kid's ill-advised and not thought out party. Mentioned to wife again that the whole thing was a bad idea. Kid's friend and co-host agreed to order pizza for party. Didn't. Party starts around 7. Noise rises consistently. We send older daughters over to check it out. They say it looks pretty tame to them. Noise escalates. Wife of drives over. Sees two kids hauling twelve packs on their shoulders. Calls son of. He's slurring his words. An hour and a half into the party. Daughters volunteer to go over and break up the party. Orders to text me if they get grief. They do a masterful job and cars start screeching out the neighborhood at high speeds revving their engines. They return and confirm son-of is shitfaced. Mom goes over and orders kids to start cleaning the space no matter how they feel. Son of comes home and pukes.
Sunday. I get up to make breakfast. Hear son of puking upstairs. Wife of gets up and goes and makes son of get dressed to go start cleaning. They pretty much cleaned all day. The friend who was the "co-host" basically spends hours texting people while about five other kids, including son-of clean. One of the friends was her boyfriend. He busted his ### cleaning as did all the others. Except this one girl. She's a #### friend.
Turns out son-of was planning on drinking, probably for the first time, at this party. He had a white claw, then another, then someone showed up with handle of vodka and he started doing shots. Remember #### friend did not order pizza as she had agreed to do. Therefore, food consisted of light appetizers and cupcakes. All in all, I think the hangover might be the worst part of the punishment he ends up getting.

Halloween we had to divide and conquer, husband of and son went to trick or treat with his friends in a another neighborhood.
Our neighborhood is a local halloween destination, I passed out candy in the driveway while trying to keep and eye on daughter of and 4 friends bopping around the neighborhood on the golf cart. Didn't think daughter had any boys she was interested in but found out I was sadly mistaken when he showed up with his group of friends.
Ended up with 2 more teen girls at our house watching Steven King movies and baking cookies post trick or treating for a total of 7 14/15 year old girls. Good clean fun was had, they all cleared out around midnight.
Saturday had baseball game and a work even (a college tailgate party). Son of's team won, tailgate was a success with clients, but had to leave early because daughter of fell off her horse twice and we wanted to check on her. All was well with daughter of and horse.
Sunday watched movie with my youngest then drove the uber carpool for daughter of and friend to go to target and to see a movie at an actual movie theater. Ended up the weekend having dinner with my in-laws who are not my favorites but I survived.

Friday drank some beers around the fire pit in the front yard. Neighbor's wife got drunk and high and started trying to pick a fight with anyone that would talk to her. She is weird. It was uncomfortable.
Cut grass and did work at my mothers house all day Saturday. That completely ruined me when I got home and I fell asleep on the couch watching TV. Woke up around 10pm and went to bed.
Had to get up at 1 am for work for a couple hours, went back to bed around 2:30, got back up at 5, finished up around 11. Went back to bed but the dog got into something that wrecked his stomach so he kept waking me up to go outside every 2 hours. Got a phone call around 2pm that something else was busted at work, had to work until around 4.
I went to grab some dinner with friends around 6 at the new Buffalo Wild Wings; service was bad, food was OK.
Had to fix the clothes washer AGAIN today. What a POS. The agitator flew off on a spin cycle; sounds like a shot gun going off.
Work has been crowding my weekends a lot lately. This needs to stop.
1/10 having fun points.
