Ugly-but a big win

Nov 30, 2016, 11:31 PM

Nebraska isn't bad, but it would have been a bad loss. The type that has cost us the last 2 years. Should win the next three easily, get Thomas eligible, and head on the road to Bama and the cluckers for two tough road games.

Nice job guys!

Nebraska won't have a winning record come March or even next week.

So you prove his point then?

Nebraska isn't that bad. They are an NIT team this year.***

few years, I'll take that ugly W everyday. I think we knew we really needed it and played really tight the first half. Much better the second half. We really need Thomas. Glad we'll have him the next time we play a power 5 team. Sidy is playing great but is still foul prone. He'll give us a legit 5 when he's not in there

Wanna bet on that?

What do you get out of popping up every once in a while to try and be as negative as possible about Clemson?

Yes this game could change the trajectory

Nov 30, 2016, 11:38 PM

A loss could have sent us in a bit of a tailspin

It's the kind of game we haven't been able

Nov 30, 2016, 11:53 PM

to put away the last few years, so in that sense it's a big win. It avoids that resume killing loss, and should for the OOC portion of the schedule.

Now we get three straight games to work on some things. Work Mitchell in, he was much better tonight. Get Spencer and Robertin some minutes. Get JB's jumper going. Reed more settled in. And finally Thomas eligible to give us the other big we desperately need.

4-2, with 7-2 all but a certainty, and the only losses to a top 10 team and another that is probably tourney bound would be our best start in years. Need 2 of those last 3 and head in to the ACC 9-3 with a good OOC resume and RPI

I agree. Would like Hudson to get some minutes as well.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I hate to say it

Dec 1, 2016, 12:24 AM

but I think Hudson's time here could be short lived. Just a feeling. He's not going to get many minutes in our guard rotation with Mitchell back. Just the way the game works now

I was just think that too. Plus with his earlier suspension he may still be in the dog house which wont help his pt

I'll take it.***
