I can attest to Cade showing improvement, particularly in staying in the pocket. In the 30 or so plays he was QB, he scrambled only twice and took one sack (really bad sack, but that happens sometimes). Quite a few times the pocket would collapse on him and he would move up in the pocket & deliver a good ball—one of which was a bomb to our other TE for a touchdown.

You could tell Wesco was a freshman by his size, but he made up for it for sure. Had a couple acrobatic catches. One thing I hadn’t noticed before, and maybe DHood could ask about it, but the WRs did 10 pushups every time they dropped a pass. Williams did that on the field in the bowl game as well, if I remember correctly.

And Ezimume is the real deal—big, tall, physical. He had to be averaging 5-6ypc when he was handed the ball.

Hopefully the pieces are there this year for a good run in the first 12 team playoff and maybe win our last ACC title.

I did and I'm with him...at least if we're not out of the ACC you can say goodbye to our football future.

I love what I'm hearing out of Spring camp. Cade seems to be improving, the receivers are healthy with new playmakers, the offensive line has an actual coach, and the defense will be loaded again.
Go Tigers!!! Beat Georgia!!!

Indeed but if you remember Nate had just gone out...if he was still in Coleman would've never caught that.

I don't think any team including us will bring their best performance of the year week 1. GA could be better or worse than last season depending on who replaces Brock & Ladd among others. If our offense plays well we will be a dangerous team for GA to have week 1. Go Tigers!!!!

UGA returns 16 starters (QB 4WR TE, 2OT, 2OG, NT, 2DE, ILB, CB, S). Tough out.

UGA loses some key players like Bowers, but they return a LOT and their recruiting has been excellent, so they have the ability to reload. Clemson could beat UGA, but that's going to be a long shot. Hopefully they take us lightly, Luke gets our OL rocking, and Klubnik/Riley show some stuff that UGA isn't ready for.

I like to think this hard work is from the chip on Wesco's shoulder

that he got from TJ kinda outshining him in the All-American bowl. Could be wrong, but it might have been a wake-up call of "oh all these dudes are just as talented as me; if I don't shine they will".

Either way, Clemson wins! DESPERATE for some route runners for years now.

As weird as it sounds. I don't want to hear about Cade's biggest improvement being Leadership. That happened with DJ...that and his weight loss and he did improve. Absolutely. Just not a championship caliber QB. And I think DJ is 3 times as talented as Cade personally. I just hope he improves in the pocket and his decision making
