expansion?
1. Women win championship every year in basketball
2. Men won championship in bball recently...just as good or better than cuse and pitt
3. Men baseball in super regionals a couple of years ago, does pitt and cuse even play baseball?
4. On the rise in football,. just as good or better than cuse and pitt
5.Anything i'm missing?

a better long term decision.
Why we wouldn't have picked UConn over Syracuse or Pitt, I can't answer for. Broadcasting footprint maybe?

Cuse and Pitt have been good in football before, so maybe the thinking was they would get back to that someday, along with being good in basketball.

For Syracuse.
Had they picked up Uconn I think the acc fanship would have revolted.
Bc and Syracuse should have never been included. Pitt and NOtre dame is as far as I would have gone .

Because they have a joke of a football program with a ceiling that's close to ground-level. On the-rise in football, uh...yeah...sure thing. They bring nothing to the TV negotiating table.

Cinci, WVU, UCF, East Carolina, and UConn would be on our list to get to 16 with ND IMO.

BC did not want another New England school in the ACC; Syracuse brings the NY TV market; its football and baseball programs are generally bad; and they cheat in basketball (that is UNC's job in the ACC).

2011 - 5-7
2012 - 5-7
2013 - 3-9
2014 - 2-10
"Rise" I dont think that word means what you think it means.

the ACC when the breakup of the Big East began. They also sued some of the individual schools who are now in the ACC. Have to be careful when you start burning bridges.

Perhaps "rise" was a poor word regarding their football team, but I still maintain they are equal to the other scrubs the acc let in. UConn has won 13 national championships since 95 in men and women bball.Jim "Denny's Boehim and his cuse team along with pitt are has beens.As far as championships and appeal uconn was the much better choice in all sports than the other 2 yankee jokes, but i guess the acc has a tv footprint or whatever in that market.To me all that is his live video showing what type of jokes these schools are that now belong to the ACC!

Again, most of you have missed the point in the post. I wasn't saying Uconn is the best choice for expansion, they are far from it. But if you are bringing in 2 basketball teams(as we all know that is what the ACC did with the cuse and pitt) how the heck was Uconn not one of them.Maybe when the uconn women hoist #14 up in a few months a few of you will realize the other 2 slouches brings nothing to the table...can't wait for that clemson-cuse baseball matchup,lol
