An ESPN recruiting analyst tweeted taht Crowder is close to naming his finalist and he mentioned Florida, UNC, Coots, Auburn and Duke.

I'm hoping that it was a mistake that Clemson was left off that list.

I thought we may have a slight lead with him.

Surprised that Duke was mentioned...they haven't been a player at all, according to all the insider blurbs. As stated above, USC has always been one of the finalists since Crowder is originally from SC and has a teammate who's a Gamecock commit in Covington. But they are closer to 5th out of the top 5 than they are 1st, IMO.

Na'Ty Rogers is higher on their list right now, although if they get an OV out of Crowder and he wants to come, they'll take him. A top OL prospect in their '12 class - Joe Harris - is going JUCO, and they probably won't keep recruiting him now, so they need to fill his lost spot.....
