Maybe Ewers is starter at QB instead of Grandbaby Manning because Ewers has that cliche ‘coach in the field’ quality.

Sark may not have to see the formation that led Ewers to do the audible. Good possibility that Sark had been working with Ewers on how to read opposing defenses and then call his own audible.

FYI, CK2 certainly looks and acts like he has authority to call audibles this year. You see him pre-snap examining the defenses, and then changing the blocking calls to the line and the positioning of the RB and TE.

In summary, I wouldn’t overstate the ‘Ewers audible when he saw Goodwin’s defensive alignment’ thing. I don’t think it’s an unusual thing.

Well what makes it bad is it’s basically a simple zone play that wasn’t stoped at Louisville , sc ( qb keep ) or all season really . Hell I called two tds last night before the play happened .) no adjustments or aggression. Run blitzes and dl slants kill zone plays .
